Our Beginnings
The Resurrection Power & Living Bread Ministries International as we know it today, first began as a non-denominational fellowship known as the Bethlehem Evangelistic Group. Established in the vibrant suburb of Santasi in the Kumasi metropolis during the late 1970s, the fellowship sought to create a community grounded in faith, fellowship, and evangelism. In its early days, the Bethlehem Evangelistic Group held its fellowship meetings in a serene area shaded by numerous trees in Santasi. These gatherings provided a nurturing environment for believers to come together, share their faith, and support one another in their spiritual journeys.

Establishment of the Living Bread Christian Center (1989)
In the year 1989, after years of hesitation by the late Rev. Akwasi Amoako to grant his blessings for the fellowship to establish a formal church, he finally agreed to the proposition. This pivotal moment led to the establishment of the Living Bread Christian Center by the current Archbishop, Rev. Akwasi Asare Bediako, and a few other men of God. This formal establishment marked a significant step in the ministry’s growth, providing a dedicated space for worship, education, and community activities.
Formation of The Resurrection Power & Living Bread Ministries International (1993)
In the year 1993, the fellowship known as the Bethlehem Evangelistic Group and the Living Bread Christian Center were officially registered as one church under the umbrella of “RESURRECTION POWER & LIVING BREAD MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL”. This unification symbolized the ministry’s commitment to expanding its mission and outreach, combining the strengths and resources of both entities to better serve the community.
Growth and Expansion: Establishment of the Amsterdam Branch
Driven by a passion for evangelism and the desire to expand the ministry’s reach, Archbishop Akwasi Asare Bediako and few members of the ministry who had relocated from Ghana established the Resurrection Power & Living Bread Ministries Amsterdam. The church flourished rapidly due to the powerful presence of God experienced during their gatherings.
